1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You are responsible for accurate account information, account security, and activity under your account.
2. The service
Director AI provides story-development, character, generative-media, editing, storage-connection, and export tools. Features may be experimental, change over time, or depend on third-party providers. AI output is probabilistic and is not guaranteed to be accurate, unique, continuous, available, or fit for a particular purpose.
3. Subscriptions, credits, and cancellation
Editor access costs $9.99 per month unless a different price is clearly shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time through the available billing controls. Cancellation stops future renewals and access remains active through the end of the paid billing period.
Payments are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise or TMG Studios LLC expressly agrees in writing. Unused time, credits, or partial billing periods do not receive prorated refunds. AI providers may impose separate usage limits, charges, or account requirements.
4. Your content and storage
You retain rights in stories, images, audio, video, instructions, and other content you upload. You grant TMG Studios LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.
Project media may be stored with a provider you control. You remain responsible for that account, its fees, permissions, retention, backups, and deletion. Ending an Editor subscription does not transfer or delete files stored in your external account, but you should maintain your own backups.
5. Film ownership and 2% commercial royalty
As between you and TMG Studios LLC, you own the film you create and your human-authored contributions, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. TMG Studios LLC does not receive a 2% ownership interest in your film.
In consideration for use of Director AI, you agree that TMG Studios LLC is entitled to a royalty equal to 2% of Net Commercial Receipts you actually receive from monetizing, licensing, selling, distributing, or otherwise commercially exploiting a film materially created with Director AI. Net Commercial Receipts means amounts actually received by you after refunds, sales taxes, payment-processing charges, and third-party marketplace or distributor commissions. No royalty is due on a film that earns no commercial receipts. Additional reporting and payment instructions may be provided before commercial-release tools become available.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not violate law or third-party rights.
- Do not create or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving minors.
- Do not impersonate, defraud, harass, threaten, or exploit others.
- Do not upload private or biometric material without the rights and consent required by law.
- Do not bypass access, billing, safety, rate, or security controls.
- Do not introduce malware, scrape protected systems, or disrupt the service.
7. AI and intellectual property
You are responsible for reviewing output before use and determining whether permissions, disclosures, releases, licenses, or registrations are needed. TMG Studios LLC does not promise that output is copyrightable, non-infringing, exclusive, or unavailable to other users.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, unlawful conduct, security risk, nonpayment, abuse, or conduct that threatens users or the service. You may stop using the service and cancel renewal at any time.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. TMG Studios LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for lost profits, lost data, indirect damages, provider outages, or decisions made from AI output. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Contact and changes
Legal notices may be sent to legal@directorai.site. We may update these Terms and will post the revised date. Material changes will receive notice when required by law. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted.
