Create an account, choose New Film, give the project a working title, and paste or write the full story. Story writing and cast setup are available before opening the paid Editor.
2. Review the breakdown
Director AI identifies scenes, dialogue, locations, story beats, and named characters. Review the breakdown before moving forward; changing the story later can require an updated breakdown.
3. Build and lock the cast
Upload reference images, refine character descriptions, and enable Character Lock or Face Lock when visual identity must stay consistent. Story Lock preserves approved narrative intent and dialogue.
4. Enter the Editor
An active $9.99 monthly Editor subscription unlocks shot planning, generation tools, media, the multi-track timeline, and final export. Arrange clips, compare takes, adjust timing, and finish the cut.
5. Protect your work
Connect your project storage and keep access to that provider. Your media remains in storage you control, even when an Editor subscription ends.
