Projects
A project connects the source story, extracted scenes, cast, generated media, shot selections, and timeline state. Use one project per film or standalone production.
Locks
- Story Lock: protects approved meaning, chronology, and dialogue.
- Character Lock: preserves established appearance, styling, body language, and continuity.
- Face Lock: uses supplied visual references to guide supported generation models.
Editor
- Media: imported and generated assets
- Viewer: source and selected-take review
- Timeline: layered video and audio tracks
- Director panel: scene intent, shot planning, generation, and continuity
- Deliver: final review and export tools
Timeline controls
- S toggles Snap
- R and T adjust timeline zoom
- Ripple closes or creates downstream space after edits
- Split cuts the selected clip at the playhead
- Mute, Solo, Volume, and Visibility operate at track level
Storage
Project media is saved through the storage provider connected by the user. Keep provider credentials and billing current. Director AI does not guarantee recovery of files removed from an external storage account.
